Weddings at The Cedars

The Cedars' historic Artist's Garden is one of the only authentic artist's gardens in Australia, preserved as Hans Heysen originally designed it over a century ago. Featuring sweeping, heritage English plantings that delight in any season, the garden is set against the backdrop of magnificent gums and native flora and fauna.

Ceremony Only

The Hire Fee includes:

  • Use of the Garden for up to two hours
  • Signing Table & two formal chairs
  • 20 White Chairs (additional white bistro chairs available to hire at $5.00 per chair if required)
  • Power cable if required
  • Onsite car-parking
  • 1/2 hour rehearsal prior to Wedding Day (day & time must be pre-arranged with The Cedars)

Price from $1,500.

Ceremony and Drinks

The Hire Fee includes:

  • Use of the Garden for up to two hours
  • Two-hour catering van hire and service including wine, bubbles, tea, coffee, chai, hot chocolate and soft drinks
  • Signing Table & two formal chairs
  • 20 White Chairs (additional white bistro chairs available to hire at $5.00 per chair if required)
  • Power cable if required
  • Onsite car-parking
  • 1/2 hour rehearsal prior to Wedding Day (day & time must be pre-arranged with The Cedars)

Non-alcoholic package:

  • 0–50 pax: from $2,000
  • 50–100 pax: from $2,500
  • BYO with service: from $3,500

Alcohol package:

  • 0–50 pax: from $3,000
  • 50–100 pax: from $4,400

Ceremony and High Tea Picnic

The Hire Fee includes:

  • Use of the Garden for up to three hours
  • High tea & bubbles including sweet & savoury delights, Adelaide Hills wine, beer, hot beverages and soft drinks
  • Signing Table & two formal chairs
  • 20 White Chairs (additional white bistro chairs available to hire at $5.00 per chair if required)
  • Power cable if required
  • Onsite car-parking
  • 1/2 hour rehearsal prior to Wedding Day (day & time must be pre-arranged with The Cedars)

 

  • 0–50 pax: from $3500
  • 50–100 pax: from $5200

This option is a great option for a relaxed picnic reception or way to relax before an intimate celebratory dinner at one of The Adelaide Hills’ wonderful venues.

Additional time can be booked at $160/hr incl. GST, subject to availability

Groups are welcome to bring their own decorations, marquee, arbour etc. providing area is set up and down within the booked time.
